FAQ

Irrigation Questions

Common questions about irrigation service, repairs, installations and upgrades.

How much does it cost to install an irrigation system?

Installation cost depends on property size, site conditions and system complexity. Contact us for an estimate based on your property.

How much should I expect to pay for irrigation service?

Pricing depends on the service required, system size, accessibility, parts and time. Contact us for current service pricing before booking.

Will my garden be disrupted during installation?

Irrigation installation requires access through landscaped areas, but we plan work to minimize disruption and restore affected areas as carefully as practical.

How long does a residential installation take?

It depends on property size and complexity. Many residential projects can be completed in a few days, while larger or more complex properties can take longer.

What yearly service does an irrigation system need?

A typical maintenance cycle includes a spring start-up and inspection, mid-season adjustments when needed, and proper winterization before freezing weather.

Can I control my irrigation system remotely?

Yes. Many modern controllers can be managed through a smartphone app. We install and program WiFi-enabled irrigation controllers.

Can I upgrade an existing system?

Yes. Upgrades can include controllers, rain sensors, drip irrigation, more efficient nozzles, repairs, zone changes and improved programming.

Why are my sprinkler heads not popping up?

Possible causes include low pressure, clogged or damaged heads, valve problems, leaks or other hydraulic issues. If basic cleaning does not solve it, the system should be diagnosed.

How do I know if my irrigation system has a leak?

Wet or soggy areas, water surfacing around heads or valves, weak pressure, zones that do not perform normally and unexpected water use can all be signs of a leak.

How can I make my irrigation system more water-efficient?

Start with correct programming and good coverage. Smart controllers, rain sensors, drip irrigation, appropriate nozzles and regular maintenance can also reduce unnecessary watering.
